Welcome to Freedah Soul's world!

For Swedish singer-songwriter and producer Freedah Soul, music is not only a passion – it’s an untamed force, which frees both her and her listeners. Her fearless and joyful blend of hiphop, electronica and soul grabs ahold of you the second her music hits your eardrums, and it stays with you long after the song has faded.

Freedah Soul wrote her first piano melody as a five-year-old, and she hasn't stopped making music since. In the early 00s she started toplining house tracks, which has proved to be very successful. During the years, she has co-written tracks with DJs and producers from all over the globe and her tracks have received support from House Music Legends such as Roy Davis Jr, StoneBridge and Tom Novy, among others. Her biggest success so far is the collaboration with Swedish DJ Martin Eriksson and their release “Welcome to Malmo”, which reached #19 on the Swedish National Chart ‘Digilistan’, based on most sold tracks in Sweden in one week.

However, Freedah Soul also writes her own infectious songs. “For me, it’s always been about the creation – to express what I’m feeling and to convey the melodies in my head. Being able to produce is important for me in order to translate my thoughts and melodies into something concrete.”

Freedah Soul doesn’t sit around and wait for inspiration to strike – she has a slew of striking singles on the way, ranging from songs of her own to collaborations and remixes. She’s written several toplines for songs to be released in 2016 and will also unleash a new, electronic EP filled to the brim with exciting songs. This and much more is just a few of the things that she has in store.

Prepare to have your soul set free by Freedah Soul.
